Dr. Marietta N. Almazan is the President & CEO of Specialty Center, Inc in Fair Oaks, California. Her practice of psychiatry has been inspired by mentors with strong biological psychiatry/psychosocial orientation during her adult residency at the University of North Dakota, Fargo, ND and fellowship training in child, adolescent psychiatry at the University of California Davis Medical Center. She has completed more than fifteen years of in-patient treatment in both the private and public sector. She has been in an eclectic private practice setting in Sacramento, California since 1990. She received her B.S. in Zoology at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines, and became a Doctor of Medicine at the Dr. NRMF Far Eastern University in Manila, Philippines.

Dr. Laurie Peters received her BA in psychology from Stanford University and her medical degree, internship, and residency at University of California, San Diego. She has been in eclectic private practice in the Northern California area for 30 years. Dr. Peters has been affiliated with the Specialty Center since 1995.

Dr. Ramon M. Ferrer completed his BS in Preparatory Medicine at the University of the East, Manila, then his medical degree from the University of East-Ramon Magsaysay. He served as a medical officer in the Philippine Air Force. Dr. Ferrer worked in the North Dakota State Hospital in Jamestown, North Dakota from 1984-1986. He served his residency in the Mount Sinai Elmhurst Hospital Department of Psychiatry from 1992 to 1996. In addition to his ten years of inpatient experience, he has maintained an eclectic private practice with the Specialty Center, Inc. since 1997.

Dr. Richard Sanchez completed his undergraduate education with a BA in Biology from the University of Southern California, and his medical degree from Dartmouth College. After serving his internship and residency at the University of California, Davis, he practiced in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He now practices in a private setting in Fair Oaks, California. Dr. Sanchez has been with the Specialty Center, Inc. since 2005.
